Donkey and Cart

Baba was unemployed when he approached Shahnam. His previous job involved transporting vegetable produce to the vegetable market using his own donkey and cart. However, at an early age Baba became ill and could not carry out his daily work because of the disability in his leg, and therefore could not afford the running costs of his donkey and cart.

As a result, Baba had to stop work and sadly sold his donkey and cart. His health later improved, but he then found it particularly difficult to find another job due to his disability and inexperience in other areas of work. When Baba approached Shahnam his case was addressed, and so he was encouraged to restart his transport work as his experience was in this field. Shahnam provided Baba with another donkey and cart to start up his business again.

Baba is now in a healthy position. He is able to support his family once again from the money he earns from transporting vegetable produce with his new donkey and cart. This is another successful case story that has benefitted from the donations Shahnam has received.
